Now the disc brakes road bike has become a new trend. Have you been riding the disc brake road bike, are you able to adjust the disc brake system by yourself?
Don't ask for someone, you can get it in 2 setps.
Case 1: Disc displacement.
First you need to check if the disc is parallel to the clamp.
• If the disc and the clamp have only one point disc touch the clamp, loosen the mounting screws of the disc brake clamp until the clamp can be loosened left and right.
• Align the gap between the clamp and the disc, and center the disc.
• Slowly pinch the disc brake clamp, tighten and tighten the mounting screws.
Tip 1: Turn the bicycle upside down when adjusting the disc, so that you can observe the gap between the disc and the clamp.
Note: When the screw is tightened, the position of the clamp may be offset. Care must be taken and it may be necessary to try multiple times.
Case 2: Deformation of the disc.
• If the disc is still touch the clamp after multiple adjustments according to the method of case 1, the disc itself is not flat, and the disc correction tool is needed.
• Use the disc correction tool at the disc to slowly apply force to the opposite direction of the deformation and adjust slowly.
